The Jawshop studio is located in historic Walter's Falls Ontario, Canada

Producer/musician Paul Clifford operates an old-school recording studio located in an 1850's barn. Equipped with wood heat, vintage gear and performance-based recording facilities, including a custom restored 1959 Airstream trailer as "Studio B". Also with woodheat, this mobile Airstream travels with an AEA R88 double stereo ribbon mic [16 inch double omni-directional]. The off-grid Airstream acts as control/ tracking, lounge and playback for well rehearsed bands to monitor their progress from the one -mic techniques employed in rooms ranging from old churches, live venues and rehearsal rooms, to outside in the Canadian woods.

Also a professional drummer/percussionist and songwriter, Paul offers his tool box built from years of touring and recording. Then junk yard percussionist/vocalist of Groanbox. Paul's credits include recording and touring with The Be Good Tanyas, musical director band for the Vaudevillian theatre collective: 'The Private Widdle Social Club' and active for ten years+ drumming and singing in the Kent and London blues scene in England. Paul has two solo albums to his credit: Rootballs, and Off the Grid. Prior to moving back to Canada from England he was the go-to producer for Smugglers Records in Deal, Kent. Paul presently tours and records with My Sweet Patootie

The studio is situated on the family homestead 2.5 hours north of Toronto in picturesque Walter's Falls, where meat rabbits, vegetables and children are being raised from the seed.
